Qhapaq Ñan – Réseau routier andin: débat entre développement, patrimonialisation et tourisme», Etats de Lieu, “Habiter la patrimonialisation: être citoyen?»

Le Qhapaq Ñan, un système de chemins des périodes pré-inca et inca parcourant six pays des Andes, a été l’objet majeur d’un projet transnational mobilisant des idées liées au développement, la patrimonialisation et le tourisme. Cette initiative a produit un complexe réseau d´institutions, pouvoirs publics et experts qui ont travaillé ensemble pendant plus de dix ans afin obtenir la labellisation de Patrimoine Mondial de l’UNESCO. Au long de ce temps, les habitants locaux des territoires focalisés ont exprimé de leur propre voix et leur interprétation de l’usage et la fonctionnalité stratégique du patrimoine. 
La recherche dont la méthodologie est ici présentée propose d’écouter ces voix, toujours laissées à l’écart, et de les confronter à la construction bureaucratique-institutionnelle, aux savoirs experts créés au fil du projet, aux argumentaires mis en place pour la conservation du patrimoine et aux possibilités de produire des nouveaux espaces adaptés à l’accumulation du capital.
