Asociacion Italiana de Turismo Responsabile y Agencia Planet de visita a Chipaya

Los representantes de agencias italianas y Zacarías Huarachi.

Desde el miércoles 15 de mayo hasta el sábado 18 de mayo, dos representantes de la Asociación Italiana de Turismo Responsable y de la Agencia de viaje italiana Planet Viaggi Accessibili, visitaron Chipaya y sus atractivos. Todo fue organizado por la responsable del área de turismo del proyecto, apoyado por la cooperación italiana para al desarrollo, Rubí Oliver Salazar. Esta cooperación, así como la de la Unión Europea, dos años antes, hizo posible la renovación del albergue comunitario Uru Chipaya.

El primer día los dos visitantes han podido conversar con las autoridades locales, durante una reunión en las oficinas del GAIOC, sobre sus organizaciones y el tipo de turismo que llevarían a Chipaya. Los hilacatas, así como el personal que trabaja en la autonomía, expresaron su satisfacción para la visita, la que será una buena oportunidad para llevar turistas a Chipaya, quienes, de forma responsable, respetando la cultura y la naturaleza del lugar, podrán compartir con el pueblo chipaya.

En los días siguientes, se ha podido ver demonstraciones sobre: la arquitectura Chipaya, el trenzado, el tejido tradicional y el manejo de agua, entre otros temas. Pudieron apreciar el salar de Coipasa, un atractivo natural muy interesante, a una hora del pueblo Chipaya.

La visita concluyó con una reunión con la máxima autoridad de Chipaya, Zacarías Huarachi, quien,  satisfecho de la visita, confesó que ha sido una buena oportunidad para desarrollar el turismo responsable en Chipaya.
